Compliance Evidence Should Not Be a Screenshot Festival

Compliance evidence collection is often manual, scattered, and chaotic.

Teams collect screenshots, export reports, paste links, and rebuild context every time an audit asks for proof. That approach does not scale, and it becomes outdated quickly.

Evidence should be mapped to controls. A control should point to the technical proof that satisfies it, the owner responsible for it, and the system that produced it.

Automated evidence collection improves repeatability. It reduces audit-time scrambling and gives engineering teams a clearer view of what is already covered and what still needs work.

Engineering teams need lightweight workflows, not audit panic. The goal is not to create more process. The goal is to make evidence visible, current, and easy to explain.

This is the thinking behind my Compliance Evidence Collector project: practical compliance automation for teams that want audit readiness without turning delivery into paperwork.
